SEM Solve (Part No. 38374) is a high-performance, ready-to-use solvent blend crafted to prep automotive panels prior to refinishing or repair. This clear liquid quickly strips away adhesive residue, wax, grease, road tar, silicone, overspray, bugs, and more—without leaving any residue behind.

Trusted for both shop and DIY use, SEM Solve works effectively on bare steel, aluminum, primed or painted surfaces, and SMC/plastic (limited exposure recommended). With a flash point of just 10 °F and VOC content of 765.3 g/L, it’s powerful—handle with care.

Instructions (all sizes):

• Shake (aerosol) or stir (liquid) before use
• Apply directly to the surface or onto a clean, lint-free cloth
• Wipe in one direction to lift contaminants
• Do not over-saturate surfaces
• Repeat if necessary for heavy contamination
• Avoid prolonged contact with sensitive materials

Suitable Surfaces:

• Bare steel and aluminum
• OEM and refinished panels
• Glass
• Select plastics and SMC (limited contact)

Instructions:

• Apply directly to the surface or to a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Wipe in one direction to lift contaminants—don’t over-saturate.
• If SEM Solve begins to dry, re-wet and wipe again.
• Do not leave solvent-soaked cloths on painted surfaces.
