Description
3M™ Super Weatherstrip Adhesive is a professional-grade adhesive designed to permanently bond rubber weatherstripping, seals, and gaskets to metal and other automotive surfaces. Its heavy black color blends naturally with most vehicle weatherstripping for a clean, factory-style repair.
The fast-drying formula creates a strong, flexible, waterproof bond that withstands vibration, wind, rain, temperature changes, oils, fuels, solvents, detergents, and grease. It is ideal for weatherstripping around doors, trunks, windows, T-tops, and sunroofs.
It can also be used to hold paper, cork, rubber gaskets, vinyl, and fabric materials in place during automotive repair and installation.

Instructions

Remove old adhesive and thoroughly clean both bonding surfaces.

Apply a thin, even coat of adhesive to both surfaces.

Allow the adhesive to dry for approximately 1–5 minutes until tacky.

Press the surfaces together firmly and hold them in the proper position.

Allow up to 24 hours for a full cure before exposing the repair to stress, weather, or vibration.
