Product Description
The USC® Universal Urethane Activator line is specifically formulated for use with USC® 10™ Universal High-Build Urethane Clear Coat (10-1). These activators ensure optimal performance in a wide range of application conditions, delivering consistent gloss, durability, and flow.
Available in Fast (12-4), Medium (13-4), and Slow (14-4) speeds, the activators provide flexibility to match shop temperature and job size:
- 12-4 Fast: Ideal for cooler conditions and smaller spot repairs.
- 13-4 Medium: Best between 75–85°F, suited for panel and multi-panel refinishing.
- 14-4 Slow: Designed for warmer conditions and larger overall refinishing jobs.
Together, these activators make USC® 10 Clear one of the most versatile clearcoat systems in professional refinishing.

Pot Life: 2–4 hours at 72°F (22°C)
Application:
- 2–3 medium wet coats
- Flash time: 8–10 minutes between coats @ 72°F (22°C)
Dry Times:
- Buffing: 18–24 hours at 72°F (22°C)
- Bake: 30 minutes @ 140°F (60°C)
Gun Setup:
- Conventional: 1.3–1.5 mm, 35–40 psi
- HVLP: 1.3–1.4 mm, 8–10 psi
VOC (Ready to Spray): 4.2 lbs/gal
